Naruto

The Naruto series starts off with an introduction to its main character, a loud and rambunctious boy named Naruto. He is an underachiever at Ninja Academy and strives for recognition, usually attaining it by pulling pranks on the instructors and around the village. There is more to Naruto than his childish antics though, as it turns out he has a great demon sealed inside of his body called the Nine-Tailed Fox. The demon, which once ravaged Konoha, is kept secret from Naruto and his classmates, and only the older people in the village know about it, and they generally reject Naruto and treat him as an outcast because of it. Naruto never knew his parents, so has lived and grown up mostly by himself and has had to deal with the ridicule all his life.

 One Piece

One Piece is a Japanese  manga series written and illustrated by Eiichiro Oda, that has been serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump since August 4, 1997. The individual chapters are being published in tankōbon volumes by Shueisha, with the first released on December 24, 1997, and the 60th volume released as of November 2010. In 2010, Shueisha announced that they sold over 200 million volumes of One Piece manga so far; volume 60 set a new record for the highest initial print run of any book in Japan in history with 3.4 million copies, being also the first book to sell over two million copies in its opening week on Japan's Oricon book rankings.[1] One Piece follows the adventures of Monkey D. Luffy, a 17-year-old boy who gains elastic abilities after inadvertently eating a mystical fruit, and his diverse crew of pirates, named the Straw Hats. Luffy explores the ocean in search of the world's ultimate treasure known as the One Piece and to become the next Pirate King. On his journey, Luffy battles a wide variety of villains and makes several friends

Naruto Shippuden

Naruto Shippuuden is the sequel to the Naruto anime series and picks-up the story two and a half years later. The first two episodes of Shippuuden premiered back-to-back in Japan on February 15th 2007 -- only 1 week after the end of the original Naruto anime series (episode 220) on February 8th 2007.

The name "Shippuuden" (疾風伝) roughly translates in English to "Hurricane Chronicles" and is a reference to Naruto being a Wind Element user (see below for more information on the different elements). While the time skip does occur in the manga, it doesn't undergo a name change like the anime does. It is referred to from time-to-time (by Masashi Kishimoto and the naruto fan community) as "Naruto Part 2" or even "Naruto 2" but the official title of the series remains simply "Naruto".

Dragonball Z

Epilouge: events that happened before the Freeza Series
Years ago, Freeza killed Vegeta, the Saiyan king, and destroyed the Saiyan Planet Vegeta. Then he used prince Vegeta(King Vegeta's son and the Vegeta we know and love), Nappa, and Radtizu as mercenary-slaves to conquer other planets. After the Vegeta Series only two pure breed Saiyan were left. One was the Saiyan Prince, Vegeta. The other was Bardock's son, our main hero, Gokou. After the death of Raditz, Vegeta learns from the message from Raditz's scouter that Dragonballs existed. Later, he figured out that in Namek Dragonballs also existed. After getting beaten by Gokou, Vegeta retreats to Freeza's planet to recover. Now, he carries on the new goal of gathering the dragonballs for himself to be granted the wish of immortality. He also plans to kill Freeza. Freeza is also in search of the Namek Dragonballs to become immortal and begins to terrorize Namek for the dragonballs. Meanwhile, Bulma learns about the Namek Dragonballs via PoPo, Kami's assistant. With the hope to gather the dragon balls to wish their friends killed in the Vegeta Series back to, Gohan, Klilyn, and Bulma venture off to Namek on the spaceship that Kami rode on to travel to Earth years ago. Great battles on Piccolo's home planet are to take place.

 Dragonball GT

Dragon Ball GT (ドラゴンボールGT; Doragon Boru Ji Ti) (meaning Grand Tour) is the sequel to Dragon Ball Z, whose material is produced only by Toei Doga. The Dragon Ball GT series is the shortest of the Dragon Ball series, consisting of only 64 episodes; as opposed to its predecessor Dragon Ball Z which consisted of 291 episodes, and Dragon Ball which consisted of 153. Originally intended to span 40 episodes (ending after the Baby Saga), the series continued for another 24 episodes, before being concluded by the movie Dragon Ball GT: A Hero's Legacy.

Witchblade

The series follows Sara Pezzini, a tough-as-nails NYPD homicide detective who comes into possession of the Witchblade, a supernatural, sentient artifact with immense destructive and protective powers. The weapon has bonded with various other women throughout history, the most recent being the series' former co-lead, Danielle Baptiste. Others who have come into contact with the Witchblade include Cleopatra and Joan of Arc. Sara struggles to hone the awesome powers of the Witchblade and fend off those with a nefarious interest in it, especially entrepreneur Kenneth Irons. She also struggles to maintain a personal life.

Witchblade was adapted into a moderately successful television series in 2001–2002, starring Yancy Butler as Sara Pezzini.

The title was also adapted into an anime and an unrelated manga series in 2004. Each takes place in a futuristic Japan and features a new blade-wielder, with little resemblance to Pezzini or to each other, in the role. There have been two soundtracks to the manga series (which had a limited print run).

A feature film, currently titled The Witchblade, was scheduled for a 2009 release, but is now set for 2013.
